August 17, 2006 was the inauguration of The Sultan Hotel Jakarta. The hotel previously operated under the name of Jakarta Hilton International Hotel for 30 years and became the largest five stars hotel in Indonesia with 694 rooms. The hotel now is an independent hotel under Singgasana Hotels & Resorts as the operator.
